Stefan is a German and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney as well as representative at the European Unified Patent Court and practiced as a Patent Attorney since 1995.
During his studies at the Technical University of Munich, Stefan dealt with subjects in organometallic and polymer chemistry as well as pharmaceutical chemistry before graduating as a ”Diplom-Chemiker”. He continued as a scientific assistant at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, where he acquired special expertise in medical technology, food chemistry, biotechnology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and microbiology.
Stefan gained practical experience in industrial property rights at a U.S. Patent Attorneys’ office in Alameda, California.
At our firm, Stefan handles any kind of patent cases and has special expertise in prosecution, opposition, and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the German Federal Patent Court. He also represents our national and international clients in court and is involved in expert opinions, patent clearances and litigation.
Stefan is fluent in German, English and has good knowledge in French. He also speaks some Spanish and is acquiring knowledge of Japanese. Stefan enjoys spending time in nature with skiing, mountaineering and he is playing tennis and golf.
