Lydia Ellen (Lilli) Neumann

Patent and Trademark Attorney

Lilli has practiced as a German Patent Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney since 2015.

At Kador & Partner Lilli is involved in all kinds of patent matters, including drafting and prosecution of German and European patent applications, mainly in the area of pharmacy and biotechnology but also in polymer and general chemistry.

She studied biology at Ludwig-Maximilian-University and graduated in 2002 with a diploma. Her main focus was on genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, physical chemistry and immunulogy.

She spent one year in Great Britain at the Sainsbury Laboratory in Norwich, where she worked on immunity and disease resistance in plants.

For the practical part of her doctorate Lilli came back to Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, this time to the Institute of Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine. She worked on tumor biology, specifically examining gene regulation of proteins associated with human melanoma.

Lilli’s native tounge is German and she is fluent in English.
