Kathrin Inzenhofer

European Patent Attorney

Kathrin joined Kador & Partner as a Trainee and passed the EQE in 2021. Since 2022 Kathrin is part of the Kador Team as a Professional Representative before the European Patent Office.

Kathrin completed her degree in chemistry (with a focus on inorganic and organometallic chemistry) at the University of Bayreuth in 2008 and subsequently devoted herself to research in the field of polymer-derived ceramics (Faculty of Engineering; University of Bayreuth).

Kathrin initially came into contact with the patent field in 2013 at the European Patent Office in Munich, where she worked as an examiner.

At Kador & Partner Kathrin handles all types of (European) patent matters mainly in the field of Polymer Chemistry – from drafting to grant as well as (to an increasing extent) disputes.

Besides her native German, Kathrin is fluent in English and French and she has basic knowledge of Swedish and Spanish.

In her free time, she pursues her other passions: Olympic weightlifting, cooking and basket weaving.
